Wireless LED Stair Lights detect motion from up to 6 feet way. These motion sensor stair lights "communicate" between the units to light automatically. PathLights Wireless LED Stair Lights can be used for basements, attics, campers, workshops, boats and more. Motion-activated PathLights Wireless LED Stair Lights help prevent tripping at night. Install the 3 motion sensor stair lights up to 18 feet apart on your stairs or in your hallway, using screws or mounting tape (both included). When you get within 6 feet of the first unit ("A" light), the light comes on which then triggers the next unit ("B" light) to light as well. The PathLights Wireless LED Stair Lights stay on for about a minute, so you can safely make your way down dark staircases or halls. And since these motion sensor stair lights are battery operated, you can add them anywhere you need extra lights. Each wireless LED stair light requires 3 AA batteries (not included) that should last for approximately 16 months. PathLights Starter Set (372125) includes 2 "A" lights for the start and end of a run, and 1 "B" light to place between them. The range of the "A" units to trigger the "B" units is up to 20 feet apart. Keep the "B" units within this range. NOTE: The "A" lights are triggered by motion and triggering the first "A" light will not activate the second "A" light. Companion Set (416629) provides 2 additional "B" lights for extra long staircases or hallways.
